Yuzu is said to have originated from China, but has been cultivated in Japan for such a long time that it has been widely used in numerous applications: food, beverages, perfumes, and even aromatherapy! The citrus fruit typically harvested in November contains high amounts of Vitamin C and Pantothenic Acid - Vitamin B5 that helps your metabolic functions - and tastes more tart than your average citrus fruit with a slight bitter undertone, adding complexity to the drink's flavor profile.
